Why is it that they have to resort to violence and rioting every time - those spoiled SWPL whites - and have riot police called onto the scene in a last ditch effort to restore calm and peace to a crowd of mindless Steve Jobs fanatics?
Why are Apple Stores ground zero for scenes of anarchy and societal breakdown?
Wait. They aren't. Whenever a new Apple product is released, a massive line of calm and courteous SWPL whites is to be found, each individual patiently waiting to purchase an upgrade to their obsolete phone, computer, mp3 player, or computer.
As we learned in a story on the Christmas Nike Shoe Riots over at Vdare.com, it will always be Black people rioting over shoes. The days before the NBA All-Star game in Orlando, the release of yet another limited edition Nike shoe produced a predictable scene of Black people rioting yet again:
The launch of an expensive new basketball shoe — timed to Orlando's hosting of the NBA All-Star Game — triggered a melee Thursday night at Florida Mall that was quelled by deputies in riot gear.The wild scene erupted about 9:45 p.m. as hundreds of people packed the mall's parking lot, hoping to buy the new shoe at midnight. As the crowd grew, a large contingent of Orange County deputy sheriffs arrived, braced for problems.Two people were arrested on tresspassing charges Thursday at Florida Mall. A third person — a woman — was arrested this morning for fighting outside Foot Locker.Witnesses told the Orlando Sentinel that the crowd was asked to wait across the street when the mall closed at 9 p.m., but one person made a mad dash toward the Foot Locker where the shoes were to go on sale, and hundreds followed."I saw hundreds of people running toward me. I thought I was going to get trampled," said Amanda Charles, 20, who was among a group of a half-dozen friends who drove from Jacksonville to try to buy the glow-in-the-dark Nikes.Witnesses said more deputies quickly arrived, decked out in riot gear and fortified by still more deputies on horseback, on motorcycles and in patrol cars. A helicopter with a spotlight hovered overhead."We were afraid of the cops and the horses," said Mario Torres, 22, of Orlando.The deputies formed a line and used shields to push back the crowd, witnesses said. They said the deputies threatened to use pepper spray but did not."It was pandemonium," said Rico Gomez, 23, who flew to Orlando to New Haven with friends just to buy the new Nikes.More than 100 law-enforcement officers from the Sheriff's Office, the Orlando Police Department and Florida Highway Patrol responded to the mall and were continuing to disperse the crowd as of midnight. People continued to mill about, and some cars remained in the lot after the free-for-all as many people were hoping the sale would go on as planned."All I know is I paid a couple of hundred dollars for a flight," said Sky Smith, 26, also of New Haven. "I'm not leaving without my shoes."As people lingered, law officers ramped up efforts to eject them from mall property, parking lots and a smaller shopping center and restaurants along Sand Lake Road.

But the same can't be said of white people trying to calmly purchase an Apple product upon its release.

And the shoe companies know it; that's why they continuously supply the demand. Millions spent on athletes to rep, more millions spent on marketing and advertising. Billions are recouped.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said almost 200 deputies went to the Florida Mall around 9:45 p.m. to deal with the massive crowd, which became unruly after Foot Locker canceled the release of the limited-edition Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" shoes.The Orlando Sentinel reports the crowd was asked to wait across the street when the mall closed. However, one person ran toward Foot Locker and others followed. Authorities formed a line and use shields to protect themselves and push back the crowd.Store employees became concerned and called 911."I saw hundreds of people running toward me. I thought I was going to get trampled," said Amanda Charles, 20, who was among a group of a half-dozen friends who drove from Jacksonville to try to buy the glow-in-the-dark Nikes.Witnesses said more police officers quickly arrived, decked out in riot gear and fortified by still more deputies on horseback, on motorcycles and in patrol cars. Something has to be done about this Apple Store riots that SWPLs keep participating in! What a misapplication of police resources it is to send scores of officers restore calm to an area where white people went nuts - again - over Apple products.
Wait. That didn't happen. We're still talking about "the Blacks" and the delirious state that new Nike shoes puts them in.
Though you'd probably be sued for inciting a riot and hailed away to face the Disingenuous White Liberal (DWL) court system, promoting a Nike shoe sale in an "urban" area would be the start of a riot.
White people and a new product at an Apple Store? One of the most agreeable and pleasant crowds you'll ever stand in line and wait patiently with.
Nike shoes and Black people? Well, what was that reason Dr. King's daughter couldn't go to Funtown again?
