The endless parade of black gangbangers engaging in wanton violence that leaves infants dead in cities like Detroit, Atlanta, a toddler shot in Philadelphia (with the black community engaging in a "no snitching" policy to protect the perp) all serve to remind people of the need to both have guns for personal protection and for staying far away from black people.
But the events in Newtown? A 95 percent white city; a veritable slice of Norman Rockwell pie preserved in the increasingly non-American nation of the United States? Well, the shooting is the type of event that pulls at the heartstrings of everyone; it's the perfect type of tragedy for galvanizing the nation into accepting the passaging of laws that make it illegal for the law-abiding to own certain types of weapons, when those gangbangers we all strive daily to live nowhere near will still find a way to obtain them.
You can't legislate evil into the abyss, just as you can't base social policy on individuals. Gun control is all the rage right now, though as the events in Newtown were being broadcast to a teary-eyed nation, Chicago was once again ground zero for the type of crime/murder/mayhem we've all grown weary of reading about or watching on the news: and, of course, it was of the black variety.

black violence took center stage in Chicago.
But again, it's the predictable, run-of-the-mill black violence (which makes living in integrated neighborhoods a dangerous proposition: for both your personal safety and for your property value) that we've all grown accustomed to, conditioned to acknowledge with the changing of the channel [10 shot, including 4 teens, Friday afternoon and night, Chicago Tribune, 12-15-12]:
Shootings across the city Friday afternoon and night wounded at least ten people, according to Chicago police, including four teens in three separate South and West side attacks.
Someone shot two boys, both 16, about 5:11 p.m. Friday afternoon in the 1700 block of East 71st Place in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side. Both were taken to Comer Children's Hospital in stable condition with gunshot wounds to their legs.Again, endless parade of black gangbangers engaging in wanton violence, be it gun, knife, or random assaults all serve to remind people of the need to both have guns for personal protection and for staying far away from black people. Bobby Rush lashed out at media coverage of Mahogany Mob attacks on whites in Chicago in 2011 -- blacks experience this type of black behavior on a daily basis, but whites don't care unless it involves them or those who look like them. The big guns of law enforcement gathered in the Chatham neighborhood Monday night to take part in a discussion on handling crime in the area.
As WBBM Newsradio 780’s Lisa Fielding reports, dozens packed St. Dorothy Catholic Church, 450 E. 78th St., to talk with a panel of law enforcement brought together by U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) The discussion was titled, “Let’s Talk About It: Getting a Handle on Crime in the 6th District.”
“You know as well as I – shootings, killings, and flash mobs,” Rush said. “This is a new one now. Flash mobs, pepper spray assaults by young men have dominated this weekend’s news. I’m disturbed because it happens on the South Side on a regular basis. It seems as though when it happens on the North Side, then it’s newsworthy.”
Rep. Rush, the one-time Black Panther and man who out-blacked Barack Obama back in 2000, just described exactly the white reaction to the Sandy Hook Elementary Massacre in Newton. But it was another event in Chicago this past weekend that, were the tragedy in Newton not monopolizing all media coverage, would be yet another reminder of why living in a majority black community or city requires one to be prepared for a potential episode of Spontaneous Blackness at any moment [Crowd reacts after robbery suspect shot to death by police on South Side, Chicago Tribune, 12-15-12]:
A man suspected of robbing a truck driver Saturday was shot to death by police a short time later following what Chicago police called a “very violent encounter” in the Back of the Yards neighborhood that later sparked a mob reaction at the scene.
The shooting happened just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of West Garfield Boulevard near a gas station, police said.
A melee ensued when a crowd gathered after the shooting, with relatives of the dead man — identified as Jamaal Moore, 23 — accosting police officers and throwing bottles, bricks and rocks, said Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy. One family member assaulted an officer and was arrested, McCarthy said at an unrelated news conference.
Another eight people also were arrested at the scene, McCarthy said, adding that he had no information about how many officers were injured in the confrontation.
The chain of events began when robbers with guns held up a truck driver near 38th Street and Kedzie Avenue between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., authorities said, citing preliminary information.
Several suspects in an SUV were reported to have broken into a stopped truck. The driver had gotten out of his truck and confronted the thieves, and they pulled out a weapon, said Patrick Camden, spokesman for the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7.
The driver called 911 and told a police dispatcher that the robbers were probably armed, Camden said.
At the scene of the shooting, the crowd that gathered afterward included some who identified themselves as relatives of Moore. Word spread quickly that Moore had been already handcuffed when he was shot, an account bystanders heard from others who said they witnessed the shooting and that was shared by two people who called the Tribune.
McCarthy said he had no information about whether that was the case.
“To my knowledge, it's nothing about handcuffs,” McCarthy said. “There is in-car video that is going to support this detailed story.”
Said Camden: “If he were handcuffed, we wouldn’t have a reason to shoot him.”
Chicago Police Sgt. Michael Martin, speaking near where the shooting took place, said people there were reacting with anger.
“People were throwing bricks and bottles at cop cars,” Martin said. “A few squad cars are damaged.”
Police responded by sending in several brigades of officers and closing off the area to traffic until the tensions eased and the damaged SUV was towed from the crash scene.

Accused of joining a violent mob that formed after a Chicago police officer shot and killed a suspected robber on Saturday, five men appeared in bond court yesterday.
The suspects, ages 19 to 31, all face misdemeanor charges of mob action. Four of the five are also accused of other crimes.
The crowd gathered midday Saturday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood shortly after a “very violent encounter” led one officer to shoot and kill Jamaal Moore, 23, of the 5600 block of South Shields Avenue authorities said.
Police said two officers confronted Moore, who they believe participated in an armed hold-up of a truck driver earlier Saturday. Moore, who police say appeared to be holding something in his hand, engaged in a tussle with one officer.
When Moore charged at the other officer, she feared for her life and shot him, Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Saturday. Officers didn’t find a gun with Moore. He was carrying a flashlight.
As news of the shooting spread, police said relatives and friends of Moore gathered near the shooting scene in the 1600 block of West Garfield Boulevard.
The atmosphere was contentious, and police reports say bricks were lobbed at patrol cars as people refused to leave the scene.
These five suspects appeared before Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. on Sunday. All are due back in court on Wednesday.
- Terry M. Walker, 31, faces five charges, including two counts of resisting a police officer. He is being held on $50,000 bail, meaning he’ll have to post $5,000 to leave jail. Walker, of the 1400 block of North Lawler Avenue, is accused of refusing to disperse and clinching his fists as if he intended to strike an officer. Police say he also swung his arms and legs to avoid arrest.
- Jeremy E. Jones, 26, was ordered held on $10,000 bail for charges of aggravated assault on police, mob action and resisting police. Officers say Jones, of the 12400 block of South Honore Avenue in Calumet Park, refused several requests to surrender to police before acquiescing. Officers attempted to use a Taser and a takedown move called an arm bar to subdue Jones, who weighs more than 300 pounds, but they weren’t successful.
- Bruce Williams, 22, is accused of ignoring a sergeant’s request to leave the area. Police say Williams made “a gesture imitating shooting” a gun at two officers and verbally threatened to shoot police. He ran from officers, but was arrested after a short foot pursuit. Williams, of the 5500 block of South Hermitage Avenue, faces charges for simple assault, mob action and possession of cannabis. Bourgeois ordered him held on $10,000 bail.
- Richard Dean Q. Lanier, 19, is being held on $5,000 bail on charges of resisting or obstructing an officer and mob action. Police say Lanier, of the 5000 block of South Loomis Boulevard, “became violent and began to yell profanities” at officers while “flailing his arms and trying to incite the crowd around him.”

- Aarion M. Pittman, 20, is accused of mob action for failing to disperse on Saturday. Pittman, of the 5600 block of Marshfield Avenue, was ordered held on $5,000 bail.
More importantly, those members of the black community who defend criminals, harbor criminals, or refuse to "snitch" on criminals are a reminder of the importance of defending 2nd Amendment rights.
So remember this: the government of the United States of America wants to disarm you, using the events of Newtown - a charming, 95 percent white city that looks like the type of Anywhere, USA so many white people still believe exist - as the catalyst for revoking the 2nd Amendment.
But it is the ugly violence found in a place like Chicago, where black people engage in wanton violence so frequently we've all become numb to their ubiquitous barbarism, that serves as a reminder of why we must have the 2nd Amendment.
After all, the police in Chicago blame Sarah Palin and Pilgrims for the violence. In the case of Newtown, it was obviously a mentally-deranged individual who engaged in the mass murder of innocent children; in most other gun crimes, it's just acts of Spontaneous Blackness.
