Info Post
PK Note: Two new posts coming today. Shameless plug commence...

If you haven’t picked up a copy of Escape from Detroit yet, head over to Amazon.com today for an awesome deal on the book. It’s been out for a little more than two weeks, and the price was just dropped on Amazon by 28 percent (from $15.99 to $11.51).

A number of reviews of Escape from Detroit:The Collapse of America's Black Metropolis will start appearing soon, so now is the time to pick up a discounted copy of the book.

By the way, it’s discounted because so many SBPDL readers (and other curious individuals) have already picked up a copy of the book. Thank you for that. I’ll be working hard researching and writing The City too Busy to Hate: Atlanta in Black and White and will start considering other cities to do projects on (Birmingham, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Washington D.C. are on the short list).

So pick up a couple copies of Escape from Detroit:The Collapse of America's Black Metropolis for a family member or friend. Maybe for that conservative buddy you golf with and share a few jokes with at the 19th Hole. Or that family member living in the suburbs of Detroit.

For those interested in signed copies, for a donation of $50 to SBPDL, I’ll mail you a copy (for $100, you go on the list for the hardcover edition that includes never-before-published chapters on the car industry, the United Auto Workers –-UAW, and Milliken v. Bradley, plus more on Restrictive Covenants) signed.

Stuff Black People Don’t Like: 365Black Days of Judging by Content of Character, a book on College Football (with 40 percent unpublished material), and two unnamed books are coming soon: but for now, do me the personal favor of picking up a copy of Escape from Detroit:The Collapse of America's Black Metropolis over at Amazon.

When finished, leave a review. Let other people know what you think of the book.

And always remember: We could have been on Mars, but we had to pay for Black-Run America (BRA).

Also, if you've ever thought of writing a book or screenplay, do it.
